If it happens that your in UK and you owned the O2 Galaxy S7 and or a Galaxy S7 edge, then you must be seeing an update on your smartphone.  The update will eventually brings the April 1, 2017 security patch level.  And your devices are the first ones who got this update anywhere in the world.

The update bumped up the O2 Galaxy S7 current Android 7.0 Nougat OS to version G930FXXU1DQD1. While the O2 Galaxy S7 edge on the other hand, moved to version G935FXXU1DQD1.

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Receiving Updates version G930FXXU1DQC4/G935FXXU1DQC4 in England

England's Galaxy S7 SM-G930F and the Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935F receives  an updates to the Android 7.0 Nougat. For some reasons, these updates have been already seen rolled out to select European countries a week earlier.  These updates brings the 1 February 2017 Android security patch level, so the released is quite a bit delayed since it's already April and we are now expecting the March 2017 security updates.

Telstra and Optus Released the March 2017 Security Updates on Galaxy S7and S7 edge

It seems like Australian carriers  such as Telstra and  Optus are releasing the March 2017 Android security patch updates on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Telstra has announced the  approval of the new updates and the rolling out begins on April 7. However, Optus and will also follow in mid-April hence the update has just recently approved and are now just awaiting for the deployment.

These security updates will not bring any significant changes to the recent Android 7.0 Nougat OS. But it also includes an  updates to select Samsung applications, while the rest are other global bug fixes, stability and performance improvements .

March 2017 Android Security Updates Hitting in Australia's Galaxy S7and S7 edge

The March 2017 Android security maintenance has just recently released on the unlocked version of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in Australia.  Both device has bumped up its Android security patch level to March 1, 2017.

Along with the latest security patches it also includes other global bug fixes, stability and performance improvements.
