Sprint Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Receives Battery Life Improvements and Security Updates [G930PVPS4BQC1/G935PVPS4BQC1]

Sprint is rolling out an update on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge that will technically improves the batter life performance. Along with it is the security patch update that has moved to March 1, 2017 Android security patch level. Though the update is only at around 50 MB in size, but is have been found some changes and a slightly increased in the device performance, as well as it also prolonged the power consumption.

How to update Sprint Galaxy S7 and or a S7 edge via Over-The-Air:

• Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.

1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for Updates.
2. If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
3. The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.

That's it. You may then head-over in your device settings to check if the Android OS version have been updated into this version.
