Verizon Galaxy S7 & S7 edge updates version G930VVRU4API3 & G935VVRU4API3

Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users who have participated Galaxy beta program has started to get the Android Nougat beta update last week. But for those who hasn't been able to register the Nougat beta testing event has yet received another dose of Android Marshmallow update today. The update is said to removed Samsung Milk Music as well as bumping up the Android Security Patch level to October 1, 2016.

In addition, the update might also include some bug fixes and other system enhancements. It may include the fix to the WiFi issues that has been reported by affected Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users. It turns out that the previous update has causes WiFi issues, the WiFi application rather turn itself on and off every few minutes. So better check the update your device has also affected such problem.

How to update the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge via Over-The-Air:

Before you download:

• Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network first, or make sure it has a strong Wireless network connection.  This approach requires you to prepare a strong WiFi connection,  and so it might happen sometimes that one did not receive any software update notification messages; (1) If and when the device is out of range during the software update roll out  period, (2) Automatic update has been turned off in the device Settings.
• Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.

1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates.
2. If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
3. The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.
4. You’ve successfully updated your software.
