AT&T Galaxy S7 is getting its March 2017 Security updates. The carrier is pushing an update that has bumped the device recent Android 7.0 Nougat OS to version G930AUCS4BQC2 from G930AUCU4BQA6. It is just minor OTA update weighing at 50 MB in size, so we couldn't expect any further changes by judging to its size itself. But it may also have some minor fixes that targets the inner system of the device and are unnoticeable to users.

AT&T is now the second US carrier to unleashed the March 2017 security updates. While T-Mobile already pushed the Security updates on their Galaxy S7 (SM-G930T)  and S7 edge (SM-G935T) few days earlier,  Verizon and Sprint might also follow soon.

Those who might have missed the first Android 7.0 Nougat. You may still get the update right now. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Android Nougat  brings a bunch of new features, such as revised quick settings, a newer multi-window implementation, small changes to various UI elements, and many more. So don't ever hesitate to update your device in a timely manner.

How to update AT&T Galaxy S7 via Over-The-Air:


Ensure your device battery is fully recharged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.
  1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for Updates.
  2. If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
  3. The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.
  4. You’ve successfully updated your Galaxy S7 Android OS.
