It seems like Australian carriers such as Telstra and Optus are releasing the March 2017 Android security patch updates on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Telstra has announced the approval of the new updates and the rolling out begins on April 7. However, Optus and will also follow in mid-April hence the update has just recently approved and are now just awaiting for the deployment.
These security updates will not bring any significant changes to the recent Android 7.0 Nougat OS. But it also includes an updates to select Samsung applications, while the rest are other global bug fixes, stability and performance improvements .
