Sprint has pushed an OTA update that contains the November Android security patches on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. It is eventually just a small OTA update that weighs at around 50 MB in file size. So by judging how small the file size is, it is surely just another Android Security Maintenance Release (SMR) to which came from Google itself.

The update has bumped up the Galaxy S7 current Android Marshmallow OS to build version G930PVPS4APK1. While on the other the Galaxy S7 edge has also moved to build version G935PVPS4APK1.

AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 edge updates version G930AUCS4APK1 & G935AUCS4APK1

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are getting an OTA update that has just bumped up the device Android Security patch level to November 1, 2016. The update will now move the AT&T's Galaxy S7 to version G930AUCS4APK1 while the Galaxy S7 edge to version G935AUCS4APK1. It's basically a minor OTA update considering it file size for just around 50 MB, so we cannot expect anything new about it. The update is still base in Android 6.0.1 Mars-mallow OS, and it's not the Android Nougat update yet so far.

Furthermore,the Android Nougat beta is already hitting the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in the US. But noting that AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 edge has not participated the said Android beta program event for some other circumstances, so we cannot speculate more about AT&T's movements.

Verizon Galaxy S7 & S7 edge updates version G930VVRU4API3 & G935VVRU4API3

Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users who have participated Galaxy beta program has started to get the Android Nougat beta update last week. But for those who hasn't been able to register the Nougat beta testing event has yet received another dose of Android Marshmallow update today. The update is said to removed Samsung Milk Music as well as bumping up the Android Security Patch level to October 1, 2016.

In addition, the update might also include some bug fixes and other system enhancements. It may include the fix to the WiFi issues that has been reported by affected Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users. It turns out that the previous update has causes WiFi issues, the WiFi application rather turn itself on and off every few minutes. So better check the update your device has also affected such problem.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge has yet received another round of OTA update that brings the October Android security patches. The update came out as build version G930AUCS4APJ4 for the Galaxy S7 and build version G935AUCS4APJ4 for the Galaxy S7 edge.

The update isn't just packed with Android SPL but rather there are also some few adjustments is going on. There is a new added feature such as the Full Screen Mobile Video Service, the volume improvements to Enhanced Push to Talk, and a fix for Voice Mail when it fails calling over non-LTE devices. And lastly, the removal of the Milk Music application.

T-Mobile has pushed the OTA updates on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The update brings the October and November security patches but it also includes some new goodies, bug fixes and system enhancements. The said update will enable the  256/64 QAM applications, fixes to unexpected system crash and freeze issues and improvements to domestic data roaming.

The update will bump the T-Mobile Galaxy S7 to build version G930TUVU4APK1, while the Galaxy S7 will move to build version G935TUVU4APK1. This will replace the previous release build version G930TUVU4APIA (S7) and G930TUVU4APIA (S7 edge).

The US factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge has just received another round of OTA updates. The update came out as build version G930UUEU4API3 for the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930U) and for the galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935U) is build version G935UUEU4API3. Both devices has bumped up its Android Security patch level to September 1, 2016. Other than that there are no further new features seen in the update but it includes some minor system performance enhancements and general bug fixes.

For this month update it brings the October Android Security packaged, to which will bump up the Galaxy S7 Android Marshmallow to build version G930PVPS4APJ2. T-Mobile has just release the a software for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Both updates are still base in Android Marshmallow and it is not the much awaited Android Nougat update yet. These updates are still part of Google's Android security maintenance in monthly fashion, and this time it brings the September Android security patches. The Galaxy S7 receive the firmware build version to G930TUVU4APIA, while the Galaxy S7 edge will move to build version G935TUVU4APIA.

The update might also include some minor bug fixes and performance enhancements that hasn't been addressed in the initial changelog details. However, it does not bring some exciting new feature as it's only just a security patch update. It's something like it just takes good care of your personal data against the possibility of exploitation.

All of the major Canadian carriers Galaxy S7 and S7 edge has started receiving the September Android Security patch update. This update will bump up the Canada's Galaxy S7 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS to build version G930W8VLU2API1. Whilst the Galaxy S7 edge will also move up to build version G935W8VLU2API1.
