Following T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Nougat updates, owners of AT&T device has also started receiving the said Nougat updates. While the rest of US carriers might also respond soon.

The T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge has began receiving the official Android 7.0 Nougat updates.
These release is no longer part of the Nougat beta, but rather the official build for all T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge owners. So everyone whose not participated the said beta program can now get the Nougat update that weighs at approximately 1.5GB in size via Over-The-Air.

The updates were bundled as build version G930TUVU4BQB1 (for the Galaxy S7 SM-G930T) and G935TUVU4BQB1 (for Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935T).

The awaited Nougat update has finally arrive on T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The Galaxy S7 edge first official  Android 7.0 Nougat firmware came out as  build version  G935TUVU4BQB1, while the Galaxy S7 also bumped to version G935TUVU4BQB1.

Though T-Mobile has already made an announcements that the roll out will start on  on February 20, 2017, but many Galaxy S7 and S7 edger owners has started receiving the said Nougat update as earlier to the given scheduled release date.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Nougat update has finally rolling out. The first official  Android 7.0 Nougat firmware dubbed as build version  G930TUVU4BQB1 has started hitting today.

As per T-Mobile announcements, both Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Nougat updates will going to start on February 20, 2017, but the release was unexpectedly came earlier as we thought.

An official Android 7.0 Nougat dubbed as build version G930FXXU1DQB3  is recently released on Galaxy S7 in UK.  This is the second Nougat update we've seen landed on Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F and the Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935F, while other Galaxy S7 and S7 edge models particularly in the United States haven't started to roll out yet.

United Kingdom owners of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) has started receiving another round of Android Nougat updates. The Over-The-Air (OTA) update dubbed as build version NRD90M G935FXXU1DQB3 has rolled out in the region for the entire week. This is the second official Android Nougat update that we have seen released in the UK alone, right after the Galaxy beta program ended last few weeks ago. Noting that only UK users whom only got the privilege of joining the said Nougat beta testing, way back in December. Therefore, this consecutive Nougat updates for Galaxy S7 edge owners in UK are no longer quite surprising.

If it happens that you have a AT&T's Galaxy S7 edge and have been eagerly awaiting for the official Nougat update to come out, then worry no more. The much awaited Android Nougat updates has been around at AT&T's public server for a quite some time now and are about to roll out any time soon. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now getting the official Android Nougat updates in United Kingdom. As you may know Samsung UK has been releasing  the Nougat beta updates for those who participated the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Galaxy beta program since December.  Surprisingly,  the Nougat beta has come into its final stage and it is now officially rolling out to the public.

The Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) receive the Nougat update dubbed as build version G930FXXU1DPLT. While the Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) also bumped to build version G935FXXU1DPLT.

Multi-Window Usability Improvements


A newly improved Multi-Window that allows users to easily adjust and controls the window size in split view.  Users can now access up to seven apps at the same time as the new pop-up window supports up to five separate windows in addition to the two split-views.

Improvements in Quick Panel and Notifications


The Quick Panel is redesigned into a much cleaner view. The title in the first panel's depth icons have been removed. Whilst the second depth icons were lined-up into nine groups and are now much easier to locate.

The Notifications is added with Direct Reply support and are now also rearranged to display information.

Improved User's Interface and Performance Mode


There are now four available modes such as the Optimized mode, Game mode, Entertainment mode, Entertainment mode, and High Performance mode.

The Optimized mode will now allows users to optimized and extends the battery life performance in the settings.

The Game mode also provides two additional functions  such as Game Launcher and Game Tools. Entertainment mode enhances the sound and image quality, while the High Performance mode is for setting up the best quality display settings.

G935UUEU4APL4 US Unlocked Galaxy S7 Edge G935U Updates

An update for the unlocked Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935U is heading its way in the United States.  The update is dubbed as build version G935UUEU4APL4 and it's not a Nougat update yet but still in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based. The G935UUEU4APL4 build carries the new Android security patches to which now covers up to December 2016.

In addition, this the third and the newest update we've seen on US Unlocked Galaxy S7 Edge so far, since October lat year. It may also seem come into our conclusion that this device might only get a quarterly security updates instead of the usual monthly release schedules.  Compared to other Galaxy S7 Edge models that had been receiving updates in a monthly basis.
