The much awaited Android Nougat updates has been around at AT&T's public server for a quite some time now and are about to roll out any time soon. But the very exact date to when it goes live is still uncertain.

The said Nougat update dubbed as build version G935AUCU4BQA4 has been around the corner, since Samsung have already been finalized and ended-up its Galaxy beta program on December 30th 2016. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now getting the official Android Nougat updates in United Kingdom. As you may know Samsung UK has been releasing  the Nougat beta updates for those who participated the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Galaxy beta program since December.  Surprisingly,  the Nougat beta has come into its final stage and it is now officially rolling out to the public.

The Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) receive the Nougat update dubbed as build version G930FXXU1DPLT. While the Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935F) also bumped to build version G935FXXU1DPLT.

The Quick Panel is redesigned into a much cleaner view. The title in the first panel's depth icons have been removed. Whilst the second depth icons were lined-up into nine groups and are now much easier to locate.

The Notifications is added with Direct Reply support and are now also rearranged to display information.

Improved User's Interface and Performance Mode


There are now four available modes such as the Optimized mode, Game mode, Entertainment mode, Entertainment mode, and High Performance mode.

The Optimized mode will now allows users to optimized and extends the battery life performance in the settings.

The Game mode also provides two additional functions  such as Game Launcher and Game Tools. Entertainment mode enhances the sound and image quality, while the High Performance mode is for setting up the best quality display settings.

An update for the unlocked Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935U is heading its way in the United States.  The update is dubbed as build version G935UUEU4APL4 and it's not a Nougat update yet but still in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based. The G935UUEU4APL4 build carries the new Android security patches to which now covers up to December 2016.

Sprint Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Updates to version G930PVPU4APL6 &G935PVPU4APL6

Sprint is simultaneously rolling out an OTA updates on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The updates is not the Android Nougat yet but still in Android Marshmallow based. While judging by its size, it seemingly not just a minor OTA update that brings the usual monthly security patches, but it will also definitely brings several improvements for the device. While according to Sprint, the update contains the December Android security patches but it also includes the network performance improvements and general bug fixes.

Furthermore, Sprint Galaxy S7 update came out build version G930PVPU4APL6. While the Galaxy S7 edge on the other hand received the build version G935PVPU4APL6. Both updates are now deployed via Over-The-Air OTA only and isn't released via Smart Switch yet.

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Official Nougat Updates Rolling out in England

Samsung has began rolling out of Android 7.0 Nougat update on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in the England. The release was initially deployed to those who participated the Galaxy beta program who eventually have been receiving the Nougat beta updates since December 14, 2016. Recently, Samsung has announced that the Nougat beta has finally ended and the final Android Nougat update are heading its way to all Galaxy S7 and S7  edge owners across the Great Britain. Whilst the rest of the European countries will also receive the same treatment very soon.

According to Samsung, the Nougat updates has focused on new and improved features, as well as enables the device for a much faster speeds and a promising user experience.

Samsung is rolling out new updates on the US factory version of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The update is not the Android Nougat update yet that we've been waiting for but still it came out as Android Marshmallow. The update is said to bring the December Android security patches and there is nothing any new features surrounds it.  But it also came along with some improvements in UI and the device general performance.

A new update dubbed as build version G930UUEU4APL2 is heading it way to the unlocked Galaxy S7 SM-G930U in the United States.
